Jericho Quick, OD Optometrist

Dr. Jericho Quick is a graduate of Indiana University School of Optometry. After receiving her Doctorate in Optometry, she returned to her hometown of Vincennes and practiced alongside fellow Optometrists.   Dr. Quick went on to achieve her lifelong dream of opening and owning her practice, Quick Vision, in the winter of 2017.

Cole Claycomb, OD Optometrist

Dr. Cole Claycomb is a Vincennes native who graduated from Lincoln High School. He went on to obtain his Doctorate in Optometry from Indiana University School of Optometry.  As an optometrist, he provides non-surgical diagnostic and therapeutic care of the eye including medical eye examinations for diabetes, post-operative cataract care, treatment of minor eye injuries including foreign body removal, and comprehensive eye examinations. Dr. Claycomb is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry.

Dry eye or more accurately called Ocular Surface Disease, is a condition that causes ocular discomfort and visual impairment. There are many contributors of this condition including but not limited to: Tear film stability, genetics, systemic disease, diet, hydration, allergies, inflammation, bacteria, and eyelid function. These are just a few reasons why you may be experiencing dry eye discomfort!

Common symptoms include redness, tearing, itching, blurred vision, burning, light sensitivity and feeling as if something is in the eye. Our doctors here at Quick Vision have had intensive training and education on how to meet your dry eye needs.

New technology available in our office includes Lumenis IPL and Optiplus, and Oculus technology.

I will, without hesitation, recommend QV to anyone looking for vision care. My 11yo daughter and I enjoyed our experience very much. The waiting area is inviting and comfortable. The staff was very professional but also very approachable and friendly. Dr. Claycomb was exceptional with both of us and explained everything in terms we could understand. Overall, especially for our first visit, I would rate higher than 5 stars. (My daughter would like for me to point out that there are snacks, drinks, toys and books in the waiting room. 😉)

I had a scratch on eye. Was having sharp stabbpains in my ete. I didn't know it wss a scratch until Dr. Quick told. They put in a "bandaide" contact. Immediately my pain was gone! I am using drops every couple hours and my ete is feeling much better. Dry eye is the coulperrate! My eye lid had been "sticking" that is the thing that caused the tear. If your eyes are gummy or sticky call Quick Vision. I could not ask for better care than I received there. The staff is friendly and very good at their jobs.
